TA2 Pure Titanium Material Details
TA2 is an industrial titanium α Phase. The commercially pure titanium commonly used in industry is TA2, which has moderate corrosion resistance and comprehensive mechanical properties. TA3 can be used when the requirements for wear resistance and strength are high. TA1 can be used when better molding performance is required
TA2 Performance
Industrial pure titanium is divided into TA1, TA2 and TA3 according to its impurity content. The interstitial impurity elements of these three industrial pure titanium are gradually increased, so their mechanical strength and hardness are also gradually increased, but their plasticity and toughness are correspondingly decreased.

TA1, TA2 and TA3 in the national standard correspond to Gr1, Gr2 and Gr3 in the UNS.
